Dad's Whole Wheat Waffles

2 Cups flour (Whole wheat, freshly ground or purchased)

2 Eggs

2 cups buttermilk (or 1 Tb lemon juice or vinegar in 1 cup milk)

1/2 cup oil

2 Tbl baking powder

1/2 tsp soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 Tbl Sugar




Separate the eggs and whip the whites. mix all ingredients together. Let sit for 5-10 mins to

let the powder and soda fluff up more. Cook as desired. Note: Works for pancakes but add more

buttermilk to be runnier mixture.
