Pizza Dough

My friend, Jessica, gave me this recipe a couple years ago and I've been using it ever since! One recipe makes two pizzas.


1 T yeast
1 c warm water
4 t sugar
1/2 t salt
2 c flour

Proof your yeast, water, and sugar together. Add yeast mixture to flour and salt, then kneed. Rise for 30 min. Cut dough in half, kneed a little, and rise again for 30 min (Sometimes I only let it rise once for 30 minutes and it turns out fine).  Roll dough out, put pizza toppings on, and bake at 400 for about 15 minutes.
